thankful thursday. thankful for boston :)

well hello blog! i'm sorry i have been neglecting you recently. i've been meaning to write...really i have! well today i decided to do thankful thursday before, well the middle of the night! i usually have a ton of homework on thursdays and i play volleyball with friends at night so thankful thursday has been neglected recently :/ well today and i bringing it back! and today i am thankful for boston! if you know me you know i absolutely LOVE boston! any chance i can get to be there, i take it up! recently, my dad retired and he got a job in boston! ya i was pretty much bouncing off the walls when i found out. i love going down to boston but we never did it that much. so now that my dad is working down there, we end up down there a lot ;) and that makes me one very happy girl. :) so, our most recent trip down was last friday. i had the brilliant idea of meeting dad down in boston for dinner, so we ended up driving down and having dinner in faneuil hall, and walked around, and went shopping! boston is amazing. the food, the shopping, the sports (yes i am a die hard boston fan...except for college, then i'm a UNC [university of north carolina] fan), everything about the city! if you have never been there before, i highly recommend going! :)

Thankful Thursday. Thankful for Valentines :)

Hello there internet world! I am sorry I have been neglecting my blog recently. Life has gotten even more crazy with starting an online class for college. But it is Thankful Thursday, and I refuse to miss this Thursday like I did last week (sorry about that...) soooo, today I am thankful for....valentines!!! Now, I do not have a "special someone" that I spent my valentines day with, but I do have my amazing family that I spent it with! I woke up early to work out, and after I was done my workout, and getting ready, there were presents waiting for me at my place at the table! :) 2 sweet cards from my parents, valentines stickers, and CHOCOLATE!!!!!! I love chocolate. It's amazing! So, yes, today I am thankful for valentines. Valentines should also make us think of the amazing love the Jesus has towards us!!!

What are you thankful for?!

Thankful Thursday. Thankful for Camp.

I know, I know...I'm doing Thankful Thursday on Friday. Anyways, as they say, better late than never! :) This week, I am thankful for camp. I love camp, I always have! For me, camp is The Wilds in Brevard, NC. {they also have a camp in NH} My family and I started going to The Wilds the summer I before I went into fifth grade. And as soon as I was there, I loved it! Everything about camp, the atmosphere, the experience, the teaching, getting closer to God, it's all amazing!!! Last summer I had the amazing privilege of doing CIT, {camper-in-training program, that is 2 weeks long} then I was able to work there for the next 3 weeks. I wouldn't have traded it for anything! It was totally and completely incredible! And, I have the awesome privilege of working there this upcoming summer for the whole summer! I am soooo excited!!!! :D I am definitely thankful for the impact camp has had on my life, and if you've ever been to any camp, you know about the friendships you build at camp. Sometimes, for some people, camp friendships don't last for a while, but I have had many friendships that I still have from camp, which is awesome! There are so many reasons why I am thankful for camp! :)

Thankful Thursday. Thankful for snow.

When you read the title you might be thinking "What?!?! She's thankful for SNOW!?!?!" Well, I am most certainly thankful for snow...at least today I am. :) Yes, I do admit that I tend to complain about snow...a lot. But, living in New Hampshire I pretty much have no choice but to live with it! We have been hit with snow like crazy this year! At first, we barley had any snow. Then, we had our first "real" storm the day after Christmas, and ever since then, it seems like it hasn't stopped! Now don't get me wrong, I do sometimes love snow! Like during ski season, snow is my best friend! But it's when we still have snow in April that I am not loving it so much...{let's see how long the snow lasts this year!} But today, I am especially thankful for snow because we had a 2-hour delay this morning because of this wonderful snow! :) Thursday mornings are always rough with youth group the night before, so it was nice today to sleep in and not have to rush in the morning. {story of my life} So, enjoy the few pictures I snapped this morning before heading off to school!

Thankful Thursday. A new blog-series.

Welcome to the new blog-series "Thankful Thursday"!!! I wanted to do something more with my blog, so after reading Jasmine's blog post (which you can see here) about blogging tips and tricks and she suggests creating a series...so I did!!! I love reading series on other photography blogs, like Katelyn's "Wedding Wednesday" series and Jasmine's "Shooting Star" series. (these are both INCREDIBLE photographers that inspire me...you should go check out their blogs here for Katelyn and here for Jasmine) So, I have decided to start my own new series "Thankful Thursday"!

Today, I am thankful for my planner!!!! My life would be a mess if I did not have my planner to keep me organized! It's true, if I lost my planner....well, I don't know what I would do! Ha! Plus, it's pink!!! :D

 As you can see here, it's nice and thin so it can go with me EVERYWHERE!!!

So I hope I didn't make you completely bored with this blog post, but this is a start to something new!!!
